WHY HAY CUBES?

Hay Cubes are an extremely popular option when it comes to feed for your horses for numerous reasons.

SPACE SAVER

They are condensed during forming so they take up much less storage area than an equal weight of regular baled hay.  This can be a massive benefit when you are working in a low space environment, and one can often get a much lower price when buying in bulk.

REDUCES ALLERGIES

Cubes are less dusty than regular hay bales.  Not only is this beneficial for respiratory concerns for the horses (such as recurrent airway obstructions or grass pollen allergies) but it’s much less problematic for all those around the area.

EASIER TO DIGEST

They are much easier to chew and digest which can be a huge benefit for any horse with dentition.  Smaller hay particles result in a much larger surface area for bacteria and enzymes to work with.  This greatly aids digestion of a larger portion of the feed – very helpful for horses who struggle to maintain weight.  This also means less manure production because the feed is better utilized.
